Dragons' Den - What really happened..

Many of you will know that in 2018 I appeared on Dragons Den, something that I feel hugely proud of and I am glad that I took part in. It pushed me to do things I would never have normally done and totally put me out of my comfort zone.

Although our Dragon decided not to proceed with his investment, Tickle Tots did not crumble and simply grew in ways that I could not have imagined. One of the highlights of which was launching our Nappies into 80 Waitrose stores last September.

Jade has been part of team Tickle Tots since the beginning and has always been around to lend a hand or test a product or two, but following on from the success of Dragons den and the growth of Tickle Tots it seemed the right time for her to come on board in an official capacity.

As a busy Mum of three, Jade works flexibly alongside me. This flexibility has always been important to me, since Tickle Tots has always been very much about fitting around my family and this is something that will continue as the business grows.

Running a business can be really lonely on your own and I enjoy having someone else to bounce ideas off, support me at meetings, and most importantly pack orders with! Nothing is lonelier than sitting and packing orders on your own!

I wrote a blog post about Jade joining the company last July, please do head over to our website and take a look.

If there are any questions you would like to ask about setting up and running a business please don’t hesitate to ask.
